There are a wide variety of oral medical supplies. According to their clinical applications, they can be classified into several major categories, covering diagnosis, treatment, restoration, orthodontics, implantation, and other scenarios. The following are the common types sorted out based on industry standards and clinical practices.

1. Shared consumables (General type) 

These are the basic consumables that are used in almost all dental procedures:
